    • Stanhope Court is a mental health rehabilitation service run in partnership with Family Mosaic and NHS Horizons. The scheme is home to 8 adults with enduring mental illness who benefit from the care, support and coaching provided by Family Mosaic and Horizons. The overarching aim of the service is to support people to manage their mental health better; enable them to run their own home; maintain their own tenancy and thrive in the wider community.

      As a housing support worker, you will support our clients to learn the life skills they will need to manage their own tenancies and live their life as independently as possible. This will include supporting clients to manage the running of their own home; guidance around making healthy choices; claim any benefits to which they are entitled; and to find and maintain suitable occupations. Ideally, your work with each person will culminate in supporting them to move on to a different property when they leave Stanhope Court to move on to a more independent life.

      The role demands that the successful applicant can work well in an interdisciplinary team and has exceptional casework and people skills to benefit their work with our customers. Support workers cover the scheme during weekdays and some weekends.

      Experience and knowledge of best practise in working with a mental health client group or vulnerable adults and promoting their recovery and independence is essential. Housing management experience is highly desirable.
