    • Our Sutton Tenancy Sustainment service offers assistance to customers who are in need of housing related support and who may have a range of complex support needs. Staff assist customers to reduce the risk of/or prevent eviction, to find more settled accommodation, to arrange aids and adaptations, managing their tenancy, or ASB and repairs matters.

       

      An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Tenancy Sustainment Support Worker to work with our customers in Sutton. We have one permanent position of 37.5 hours a week available. You will need to have the skills and ability to assist customers to reach their support plan objectives and reach independence; including devising person centred support plans, assessing risks to customers and staff, attending appointments, providing practical and emotional support and working with the team to provide a creative and innovative service for customers. You will hold a caseload of approximately 20-25 customers with medium-high support needs and will be responsible for carrying out initial assessments, helping to create and review support and risk management plans and for carrying out regular key-work sessions. You will be working with a range of customers including those who have mental health and substance misuse issues, ex-offenders, gypsy travellers and those who lack the skills to live independently. You will be able to manage conflict and challenging behaviour positively and support customers presenting in crisis. You require excellent time-management and organisational skills and will be part of a small team. You will also assist in running drop-in surgeries at the Civic Centre and help man our duty-line on a rota basis.
