    • We are looking to recruit a permanent Housing Officer in London Supported Housing so this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to build on their existing skills. The successful person will manage a patch of properties across various London boroughs, working with various client groups including people with severe and enduring mental health issues, older people and former rough sleepers.

      In exchange we need someone who can work as part of a team as well as have the ability to work well on their own initiative. They need to be highly motivated and have the ability to work well with both internal and external support providers in order to deliver a housing management service that is responsive to the requirements of support service specifications.

      The successful candidate will be experienced in Housing Management and that they have the ability to manage and prioritise a large and ever-changing workload. They will be responsible for the management of Voids, ASB, Estate Inspection, Tenancy Audits etc. within their own patch.

The service provides support to 11 adults with mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently in their own self-contained flats. The service will deliver 24/7 support specifically tailored to their personal housing and social needs to sustain long term tenancies. Customers will work with staff utilising communal areas within the scheme and accessing community activities and social inclusion within the local area to achieve assessed outcomes.

      As a Bank Support Worker, youe duties will include carrying out needs/risk assessments, reviews of customer support packages and delivering front line support to customers.

      In this role you will work in partnership with customers, health and social care professionals and other stake holders to develop joint working processes. Maintain a socially inclusive approach to support, which seeks to develop the use of local community networks and opportunities for customers. Act as an advocate, or enable those accessing the service to self-advocate.

      The successful candidate will need to meet the service needs of the scheme which will include working working on a rota system between the hours of 7am - 10pm. Sleep in shifts from 10pm - 7am may also be required.
